    EPSO is responsible for the selection of staff for the institutions and agencies of the European Union, ie the European Parliament, the Council, the European Commission, the Court of Justice, the Court of Auditors, the European External Action Service, the Economic and Social Committee, the Committee of the Regions, the European Data Protection Supervisor and the European Ombudsman. Each Institution recruits staff from among the pool of successful candidates provided by EPSO.

    This interactive orientation course will be further improved and developed based on user feedback before being made available in all official EU languages.

    Here is an overview of our modules:

    1. All you need to know before applying;

    2. How to apply successfully;

    3. How to increase your chances of success;

    European Solidarity Corps

     After the allocation of volunteer positions started in March 2017 within the European Solidarity Corps —launched by the European Commission, it now provides new job and training opportunities for young European citizens.

    To this end, the Commission supports two projects headed by the public employment services in Italy and France, which will  offer employment or training in solidarity-related fields across Europe.

    The two projects carried out by the French employment service (Pôle emploi) and the Italian National Agency for Active Labour Market Policies (ANPAL) bring together public employment services and organisations from different Member States of the European Union, such as business organisations and vocational training centres to provide young people (aged between 18 and 30) job offers and internships in solidarity-related fields. The selected candidates will be able to participate in a wide range of activities, such as healthcare, social integration, environmental protection, assistance to migrants and refugees or food aid in another EU country.  The projects are financed with more than €14 million from the  Employment and Social Innovation Programme.
