    Move2Learn, Learn2Move

Citizens feedback to contribute to EU law-making as it evolves

The Commission wants to hear your views and reflect them in its decisions when it makes and updates EU laws. This is an important goal of the better regulation agenda.  There are various opportunities to contribute to EU law-making as it evolves – from the preparation phase through to proposals for new laws and evaluations of how existing laws are performing.  As part of the Commission, the portal Better Regulation offers now more opportunities for citizens to contribute to the EU law-making process.

White Paper on the Future of Europe

The White Paper presents possible ways for the future of Europe. This is the reason why the White Paper presents five scenarios for how the Union could evolve by 2025, depending on how it chooses to respond.

The White Paper marks the start of the process, not the end. The next step will be the Rome Summit of 25 March 2017. There, the EU leaders will meet to mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome, reflect on past achievements and seek to outline different ways for a common future. We should all internalise the following: the future of Europe is in our own hands.
