The Library of the University of Alicante collaborates in distinct cooperative projects:

The Network of Spanish University Libraries (REBIUN) is a sectorial commission of the Conference of Rectors of the Spanish Universities (CRUE) from 1998.

From his creation, to initiative of a group of directors of libraries in 1988, REBIUN constitutes a stable organism in which they are represented all the university libraries and Spanish scientists.

REBIUN Is formed by the libraries of the 76 universities members of the CRUE (50 of university field public and 26 of private university field) and the CSIC (Upper Council of Scientific Investigations).

In the frame of the project of conversion to Campus of International Excellence "Campus Habitat 5Or" the Valencian public universities (UV, UPV, UA, UJI and UMH) have signed an agreement for the development and conjoint utilisation of the services of library.

The Library of the University of Alicante has signed an agreement of cooperation with the Libraries of Canaries, Universidad Complutense, Murcia and rest of Valencian Libraries for the conjoint acquisition of the bibliographic bottoms.

OCLC Is a cooperative of libraries created in 1967 that integrates to more than 16.000 partners distributed in more than 100 countries.

The Library of the University of Alicante is partner of this cooperative and collaborates with his bottoms in his world-wide catalogue .

It is a project promoted and developed by the University of the Rioja from 2001 for the diffusion of scientific contents mainly Hispanic, although with the step of the time has expanded this limit.

In the project collaborate institutions of Spain, Portugal and Latinoamerica, one of them is the University Library of Alicante.

The Archivo Digital España-Unión Europea / Spain-European Union Digital Archive collects relevant documents, in all formats (text, image, audio, video) about Spain and the European Union, currently dispersed in the bibliographic and documentary collections of institutions in the field of the European Union. Also collects intellectual production of the universities, mainly Spanish, in the matter. Sedas is a digital repository, open access, created by 20 European Documentation Centers (CDE) of the Spanish universities and the Representation of the European Commission in Spain, in collaboration with the Secretariat of State for the European Union.

Since 2005, CDEs have belonged to a wider network of information points called EUROPE DIRECT, promoted by the European Commission, in order to organize and reunite part of the different information services on the EU to the citizen .
