Devuélveme la voz incorporates new contents
Thanks to an agreement signed between the University of Alicante and Radio Alcoy, 1,120 new recordings have been incorporated into the project, which complement the recordings from Radio Paris. The collection now has 1,859 sound recordings. The contents that have been added are 432 of Radio Alcoy’s own broadcasts and 688 programs in Spanish from the Office of Radiodiffusión -Télévision Française (ORTF) to be broadcast inside Spain by radio stations like Radio Alcoy, although the censor’s office conditioned these broadcasts to subsequent physical destruction of the discs.
Devuélveme la vozhelps to understand the period of dictatorship and the transition in Spain better, with radio broadcasts that dealt with the realities of the times from different points of view: Radio Paris and ORTF Radio Alcoy.
