The book club at the Library

The University of Alicante's Bibliographical & Documentation Service (SIBID) collaborates for three consecutive years,  with the Office of the Vice President for Extracurricular Activities in its Reading Club.

The books devoted to the Reading Club will be located at the Arts and Social Work Reference Library (2nd floor of the General Library Building), in an area aimed to this purpose. Readings will start on 13 October with Bernardo Atxaga's Obabakoak and Albert Camus' The Stranger

The books acquired for the Reading Club members will be removed from the loan service for those users not belonging to the Club for as long as the readings are held. After the readings, books will be available for all users.

Books will be loaned at the Loan Desk, at the General Library Building (ground floor). Users should prove their membership to the Reading ClubMembers of the Reading Club will be accredited at the same Loan Desk. Books will be loaned for 14 days. Users will be allowed the required renewals provided they are performed by phone.

Once more, the University of Alicante's Bibliographical & Reference Information Service, considers important your collaboration with this interesting activity aimed at awaking the pleasure and liking reading.
