Photo contests and micro-stories from the Education Library

On the occasion of the Book Day, and within the activities to be held in the week of April 23 to 27, the Faculty of Education announces the I PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST ON READING and the II MICRO-STORY CONTEST OF THE EDUCATION FACULTY.

The photo contest theme will be reading (reading people, reading self-portraits, etc., in any situation).

A maximum of two photographs may be presented that have not been awarded in other contests.

The originality of the photo will be specially valued, as opposed to its technique, so photos taken by any means (mobile, etc.) are allowed.

The photographs must be sent in digital format to the email bibli.educacio@ua.es or to the Twitter of the Faculty of Education @Educ_UA with the hashtag #lecturaEducUA. The author's name, ID, grade and course must appear in the same email. In the case of sending by Twitter, these data must be communicated to the Library.

Original micro-stories (maximum 240 words) will be presented with the theme: "How did I" get hooked "to reading?". The texts may be in Spanish, Valencian or English

The stories will be delivered in PDF to the email bibli.educacio@ua.es. In the same email, the author's name, ID, grade and course must be included, as well as the pseudonym.

In both competitions may participate the students of the degrees of the Faculty of Education of the University of Alicante.
The term for the presentation will be open from the publication of these bases until March 29, 2018.

The competitions and the rest of the activities of the Book Week are organized by the Library of Education with the collaboration of the Faculty of Education and the Vice-rectorate of Culture, Sports and Languages.

Soon we will announce the rest of the week's program, with storytellers, workshops, exhibitions and other activities!
